Contributor artist to RUCI ARTSPACE presents PARIPURNA BY DIVISI62 exhibition. The exhibition poses the question: can we really define what is ‘Indonesian’? By presenting the works of DIVISI62 a Jakarta-based group of individuals with backgrounds in music, anthropology, film, graphic design, and photography, they intend to establish a dialogue of seeing the paripurna—whole—view of our Indonesian identity. My works on display: MANUSIA INDONESIA, portraits of individuals outsideJava, displayed with mirrors next to it with excerpts from Mochtar Lubis’ book printed on it. BEBAS TERBATAS, a photo-essay based on Soekarno’s opening speech at the First Asian African Conference in 1955 in Bandung.
